ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Orders placed on our website are typically processed within 3-4 working days and shipping is usually within 1-2 working days.
Please note that processing time may be longer during peak seasons (Oct - Dec) or due to unforeseen circumstances. For orders placed in November or December please allow up to 7 working days to recieve your order.
SHIPPING RATES
We offer various shipping methods to ensure convenience and flexibility. Our preferred shipping carrier is DPD however on some occasions we may use An Post depending on the location and dimensions of the package.Shipping within Ireland & Northern Ireland is charged at a flat rate of €4.95 up to 20kg and free for orders over €100.
For international destinations carriage rates will be displayed at the checkout based on your location and order dimensions
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery time varies depending on the shipping method selected and the destination.
Once your order is processed (3-4 working days) shipping then takes 1-2 working days via DPD. For orders placed in November or December please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.
Please note that these are estimated times and actual delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances or delays incurred by the shipping carrier.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information. You can use the provided tracking number to track the status of your shipment on the carrier's website.
CUSTOMS & DUTIES
For UK and International orders, please note that customs fees, import duties, and taxes may apply upon arrival in your country. Any additional charges related to customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on potential fees or taxes before placing an order.
SUSTAINABILITY
Here at The Fabric Counter we are committed to reducing our environmental impact. That's why we strive to use eco-friendly packaging materials whenever possible. The majority of our packaging materials are made from recycled or biodegradable materials, and we avoid excessive packaging to minimize waste. Our branded polymailers are made from 100% recycled materials and are fully recyclable. Where possible we use tissue paper instead of plastic to wrap orders and have reduced our single use plastic usage by over 90% in the paat year. We encourage you to recycle or reuse the packaging materials you receive from us.
ADDRESS ACCURACY
Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for any delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
FABRIC SUITABILITY & RETURNS
The customer is responsible for her/his own choice of fabric in terms of measurements, quality, colour, design and suitability. Please take time to consider your requirements and we strongly advise you to avail of our fabric sampling service if you are unsure of the suitability of your fabric choice. We recommend that you order all fabric required at the same time as there may be slight colour variations between differently dated consignments.
Because your fabric has been cut to your specific measurements, unfortunately and with regret, no returns can be entertained and no refunds will be issued due to a change of mind or if the fabric you have chosen is not suitable for your project. Fabric cut to specific measurements is classed as a "customised" product under EU Law and thus conforms under this refund policy.
ORDER MISTAKES OR DAMAGED ITEMS
All of our fabrics are cut to your specific measurement and quality checked before dispatch. Upon receipt of your order, and before cutting into the fabric or altering it in any way, please ensure that you are totally satisfied with the items you have recieved and that they are the correct measurement and free of any damage.
If we have made a mistake with your order or your item is damage in any way and you would like a refund you must notify us via email within 7 days of receiving your order.
In the unlikely event that a fault is discovered by you, please email us immediately with a photograph of the damage to info@thefabriccounter.ie It is important that you include your email address along with your order reference number, a description of the problem and your contact number. We will respond to you quickly and efficiently to arrange the return of your purchase for our examination.
Should any fault on our part be established, a replacement or full refund will be offered. In this instance your postage cost will also be reimbursed.
All return items should be sent in their original condition and within 14 days to: The Fabric Counter, Unit 4 Brunswick Court, North Brunswick St, Dublin 7
UNDELIVERED PACKAGES
In the unlikely event that your order has not been delivered we always recommend to contact the courier company directly with your tracking details that would have been sent with your shipping confirmation. If the courier company can not locate your package we will esculate the issue directly with the courier company
If you have not received your goods within 2 weeks of receiving a shipping confirmation email please contact us immediately.
In the unlikely event that your order has been lost in transit we can re-dispatch your order upon receiving a confirmation from the courier that the parcel has been lost in transit or has not been signed for.
If you contact us after 30 days of your order been shipped claiming that the order was not received unfortunately we will not be in a position to issue a refund or reship your order.
