Hemline HN172 Heat Resistant Compressed Wadding

Hemline HN172 is a soft, heavyweight compressed wadding with heat and cold insulating properties. This sew-in wadding is suitable for a range of quilting, home décor and practical sewing projects, including pot holders and pot mats.

Use for pot holders and pot mats (at least two layers), chair and sofa covers, patchwork, quilting, ironing pads and as an ironing cover to help protect delicate fabrics. Suitable for use with all fabrics.

Care & Application

Tack the wadding to the reverse of your fabric and add a backing fabric. Sew the layers together by hand or machine, spacing stitching approximately 15–20cm apart. Wash at up to 40°C or dry clean. Always test on a fabric scrap before use.
